Is Imagination More important than knowledge?

Today i'd see a title of page named Imagination is more important than Knowledge and my mind stopped on this point because it was something different i havent thought about!
i started thinking about the theme and the idea the actual idea behind this that how can something be more important than knowledge in this world?
i was like sitting in a dark room but suddenly a ray of light clicked my mind and i agreed with this that yes imaginations are more important that knowledge and again i will explain my point of view with a few examples!
that imaginations starts where the length of knowledge stops. knowledge deals with what you see and what you'd experienced  but imaginations cover the entire world and universe!

here the question was if knowledge is about the experience & imagination is about fantasy than if you face a difficulty on your way then an imaginary bridge wont get you to other side unless you walk around or bear the problems?
e.g
A whole in your way ? you have to step down and then climb up and there is no way out and it is really a problem for you! but imaginations will make you feel that the whole is not actually a problem it is actually a way downward and then upward towards your destination or maybe there is something interesting down there!
another example !
if you are locked up in a container with all food facilities available what knowledge will tell you will be that if you stay there your gonna die with boring and mental disorder death!
but what imaginations can make you feel and get you out of that situation is simply that you'll think about the container where it is placed ? in a jungle ?! where there are alot of fruit trees and flowers around your container and just behind the wall of your container is a flower bed with all kinds and colours of flowers !!
or maybe your container is placed just in the ground floor of your own home and you can feel the presence of you family above the roof of your container!!?
so here the container is what knowledge knows about ! and out side of that container is what imaginations can see what you want to see !
i think i'd cleared the whole statement over here but in the end adding another point about religion.the basic concept of religions is based upon Imaginations in which you believe ! how strong you believe is how much you gain
